Health and vaccinations
Sri Lanka is an ideal place for your holidays, but keep in mind that it is also a tropical island and requires some considerations. The following advice is intended as a useful guide. Check-in and check-out times
Check-in time is from 02.00 PM (14:00 hrs.) onwards and check out time is 12.00 noon. (depends on the Hotels)
Early arrivals will be on availability and need to be informed at the time of reservation. Arrivals earlier than 10:00 AM will be charged the Full room rate and will be availability.
Early arrivals ahead of 6:00 AM will be charged an extra night’s rate and will be confirmed in advance if requested.
Late departure up to 2:30 PM will be on availability and needs to be informed at the time of arrival.
Late departure up to 6:00 PM will be charged full room rate.

Sri Lanka is a year-round destination with two monsoon seasons so there is a lot of confusion around when is the best time to visit. The weather doesn’t run like clockwork here, and we can always be surprised by the weather in Sri Lanka! Money changers are present in Colombo and in the main tourist locations. They offer competitive rates, but choose them carefully because it’s easy to be scammed. Our advice is to exchange currency only in banks or at the most reliable money changers, such as those at the airport. ATMs are still the safest and most reliable solution.
